I made this piece because someone close to me went to travel for a long time. I miss you a lot, my silly fox...

Sunrise, Sunset

I was inspired to do this piece one morning out on a walk. I was asked for a light, and obliged. I chatted with the stranger, and shared some medicine with him. It was a bit windy, and I accidentally singed a part of my cloak while using it as a windblock for my match.

I saw some magpies fly overhead, and looked up to see the sun rising, and it was a deeply beautiful sight and moment.

I decided to do the piece a bit later when I saw that I had damaged my cloak >w\<

2025/01

Pride boots

I've had this pair of boots since around 2017, and they started fraying on the elastic part by the ankles.

While I was mending the edge of the elastic part, I decided to add a trans pride on the left ankle and a bisexual pride flag on the right.

I broke several needles while working on this piece due to the thickness of the fabric, but it was worth it to have something I love to wear and show off, as well as to repair something I hope will last a long time.

I will always think of you

I made this piece in the wake of a long term breakup. The reference photo is a setpiece made by the person I broke up with. The words around the border are lyrics to a song from Bojack Horseman with the same name.

2022/07

Bee

This was my second-ever piece that I've made! ^w^

I have a fondness for bugs, and bees are one of my favourites.

The shirt I embroidered this on was wearing out, so I cut the fabric around the embroidery and stitched a circle around it to turn it into a patch, and then used it to fix my friend's shirt.

2020/Spring

Cactus

My first-ever embroidery! I stitched this during the first covid lockdowns.

Originally this piece only had the cactus and leaves. The shirt I put this on originally needed to be retired, so I added the stitching around the border and cut the patch out of the shirt.

This piece can be seen on display at The Quiltbag on Whyte Avenue! I exchanged it for a birthday gift for my partner. uwu
